Dutch midfield star Donny Van De Beek and English goalie Dean Henderson will start tonight’s game against Swiss club Young boys in the last group game of the Champions League.

Both players have found game time hard to come by but will have the chance to prove their worth to Ralf Ragnick who has hinted that he is giving every player a clean slate.
“It’s perfectly possible we bring some fresh players because the next game is coming up on Saturday, an away game at Norwich [City],’ he said, via the Mirror.

‘It is possible, we will speak about that tomorrow at Carrington.

‘The problem is we can only play players who are in the Champions League list.

‘For example, Phil Jones, whom I would love to give game-time on Wednesday after his long-term injury, unfortunately, he is not on the list, so we have to put our focus on players who will be allowed to play.

‘It is possible, I don’t know if we play a completely new 10 players because I don’t know if we have enough players on the list but it’s definitely possible we could play with some new players.’

This match comes too early for Edinson Cavani and Raphael Varane who both returned to training yesterday. They are both expected to return to full training next week. Not much has been revealed about the fitness of left fullback Luke Shaw, but he could make a return to the starting eleven for the game.

Mason Greenwood is another player who could start the game after a productive cameo against Crystal Palace in the weekend. He could take Ronaldo’s place up front after providing the assist for Fred’s 77th-minute winner as a substitute.
Anthony Elanga could also be handed a start after an energetic display against Palace after he replaced Marcus Rashford.

Nemanja Matic is expected to lead the team out if Harry Maguire is rested for this game. The Serbian was also present during the press conference with Ralf Ragnick.

Predicted Manchester United XI versus Young Boys BSC:

Henderson, Wan Bissaka, Bailly Maguire, Luke Shaw, Matic, McTomminay, Van De Beek, Lingard, Elanga, Greenwood.
