The Gunners are said to be interested in his services and have put in a bid for him.

However, following their 6-0 win over Genoa, the manager claimed he couldn’t guarantee whether the Arsenal target would be remaining at the club.

‘At the moment we appreciate Dusan here at Fiorentina, he’s with us – I don’t know about the future,’ head coach Italiano said when asked about the situation after Fiorentina’s triumph.

‘Today he scored a fantastic goal.’ He appears to be both motivated and easygoing.’

The Serbian international’s current deal is coming to an end in the next 18 months, and Fiorentina is increasingly resigned to losing their prized property, but they hope to keep him until the summer.

Meanwhile, Ian Wright has urged Arsenal to sign Vlahovic, claiming that if the team has a successful January transfer window, things could’start to happen.’

‘Up to this moment, Arsenal have done wonderful business,’ the legendary ex-Arsenal striker stated on The Kelly and Wrighty Show.

‘I believe they need to sign another striker, even if everything with Aubameyang can be resolved.’

‘I’m hearing Fiorentina’s Vlahovic. We require a player to bridge the gap between Lacazette and Aubameyang.

‘I have no idea what’s going on with Laca; I’d love for him to stay, but I have no idea what’s going on with him, and we have no idea what’s going on with Aubameyang.’

‘But if we can get that hard-running striker who is fantastic at link-up play and is a good finisher – which Vlahovic is – then you start to believe it’s happening now for Arsenal.’
