Aubameyang throws subtle shade at Arsenal after Barcelona win

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang again registered his name on the scoresheet as his goal was instrumental to putting the Spanish giants into the next round of the Europa league.

Barcelona were on course to be disqualified from the competition as a beautiful header from Galatasaray central defender Marcao put the Turkish side ahead until youngster Pedri showed maximum composure in front of goal to draw the game level.

The Gabonese striker completed the comeback in the 49th minute of the second half as he bundled the ball over the line, a goal that was enough to send the Blaugrana into the Quarter final of the competition.

His winning goal meant the Ex Arsenal skipper had now scored 7 goals for Barcelona in 10 appearances, a sharp contrast to his last days with the Gunners.

When quizzed about his new found form with his new club the Gabonese took what seemed to be a subtle shade at the Gunners.

According to Sports world the striker said “What can I tell you? I am working a lot and I think that the most important thing is that I am happy. When you are happy, you have excitement for everything, to score goals, to help the team and to kill.”

The Spanish side currently sit 3rd in the league and will be hoping to continue their impressive run of form when they take on fiercest rivals Real Madrid in the league.
