The season started really perfect for Chelsea fc to a point where all Chelsea fans and rival fans thought they would even finish the season without a loss “A feat only Arsenal have managed to attain in the history of epl”.

Ever since the injuries to Recce James and Ben Chilwell the club have really gone towards the downward trend, losing games for fun and getting draws in games they normally would win without breaking a sweat.

Though, hope revived for Chelsea as they went to the club world cup to win the prestigious trophy and they finally became Champions of the world, an achievement the likes of Legendary John Terry and Frank Lampard were unable to attain during their time at the Stamford Bridge based club.

After the Club World Cup win, Chelsea met Liverpool during the Carling Cup Final where they had an equal battle with the Reds that Led to Penalties as Kepa over confidence in his penalty saving abilities disappointed the club as he fired his penalty kick straight to the Spectators.

As Quoted by Indifootball this was what Thomas Tuchel said Regarding Chelsea Biggest Struggle this Season.

“I said it many times, I think the biggest struggle for us in this season in this moment is the injuries of key players and long-term injuries of key players and Reecey is one of the key players, and also Ben Chilwell.”

“We had players out for many weeks and that cost us. On top of that was the Covid situation where we sometimes struggled in a crazy way where we arrived in Wolverhampton [in December] with 14 players and stuff like this.”

Chelsea within their rights were one of the Contestants to win the prestigious premier league trophy, but during December most of their players were ruled out from the squad following Covid 19  Positive results, coupled with the massive injury worries that Chelsea had to deal with during that time, contributed to the rate at which Chelsea dropped in the league table from 2nd to 1st.
