Barcelona set to loose 2 of their stars to Premier League clubs this summer

Barcelona are on the verge of loosing 2 of their stars to both Chelsea and Manchester United respectively. Barcelona have been named the most active club in the transfer window for the upcoming summer signings as they are linked with targets such as Lewandowski, Bernardo Silva, Jules Kounde, Raphinha and Mohammed Salah.

Meanwhile, Barcelona also have a big task of keeping their players in the club. Due to the financial problem that Barcelona are into, their players are usually taking pay cuts and are not happy in the club. While some of them are used as bait to get money.

Players like Frenkie De Jong and Ousmane Dembele. Frenkie De Jong is not considered as a liability to Barcelona, but Barcelona have given their reason as reason to make money and to redeem their financial status. Frenkie is expected to move to Manchester United as Barcelona look to finalize the agreements.

Frenkie De Jong earlier expressed dissatisfaction in the Barcelona team as he was usually subbed off and replaced by Pablo Gavi but as it stands Frenkie De Jong has had a change of mind. He wants to stay in Barcelona. He described moving to Manchester United as a backward step.

Ousmane Dembele on the other hand has rejected Barcelona’s offer ofa contract renewal. He said he is not satisfied with what Barcelona is offering him. His contract expires on the 30th of June. Dembele has given Barcelona a deadline of June 30 to offer him something worth staying. However it is likely that Dembele would not renew his contract rather he would become a free agent. He is interested in going to Premier League side Chelsea.
