Manchester City set to hijack Manchester United summer target As they prepare Swap Deal For Barcelona

According to latest reports from top football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City and Barcelona have had talks regarding Bernardo Silva and the Charity Match which was inspired by former Barcelona player Juan Carlós Unzué for the awareness of ALS.

Frenkie De Jong who has been linked with going to Manchester United could now be sold to Manchester City in swap deal. Frenkie De Jong however is not interested in going to any club. His desire is to stay in Camp Nou with Barcelona.

Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag has handed a boost in the pursuit for Frenkie De Jong. Barcelona and Manchester United were certainly at the verge of finalizing the contract which could have worth €86m (£69m).

Manchester City have proven to now be obstacle and the stumbling block in Manchester United’s way. Manchester City have the upper hand in the race for De Jong because they have replacement for him Bernardo Silva. Manchester City have considered giving Barcelona Bernardo Silva and receiving Frenkie De Jong.

A swap deal is currently what both teams are considering. If something tangible comes out of the swap deal, Barcelona will still have to pay £10m to Manchester City for releasing Bernardo Silva.
