Bayern munich no. 9 has finally revealed the true reason why he wants to leave Bayern Munich for Barcelona this summer.

Robert Lewandowski has rejected two contract renewal offers from Bayern Munich. He has made it clear to Bayern Munich that he would not renew his contract with them. However Robert Lewandowski isn’t yet a free agent. He still has contract with Bayern Munich that will expire next year.

Fabrizio Romano has declared that if Bayern Munich don’t release Lewandowski then it would be wickedness on their part. Lewandowski has won 8 Bundesliga titles for Bayern Munich including a single UEFA Champions League and UEFA super cup.

Lewandowski declared plainly that staying in Bayern Munich is of no use, as there is no more competition in Bundesliga. Lewandowski has also said that he is interested in no other club other than Barcelona. Barcelona club President has also promised to do his best to bring Robert Lewandowski to his club.

Lewandowski has said that the reason why he wants to play in La Liga with Barcelona is that “I want to prove that I am better than Karim Benzema”. Karim Benzema is currently regarded as the king of La Liga ever since the departure of Barcelona legend Leo Messi.

Robert Lewandowski has strongly expressed his desire to leave Germany this season. His career plan was to play in Germany, Spain and United States. In Germany Lewandowski has played for Bayern Munich and is still hoping to play for Barcelona. In the United States Lewandowski has declared that he will join the MLS and he will retire there.
