How Tuchel would Line-Up Koulibaly and Sterling in a 4-3-3 and 3-5-2 Formation Next Season that Would Shake the Epl

This Transfer Window started really Slow for Chelsea FC but so far they have made the wait Fans had for incomings worth it as they Brought Sterling and Koulibaly to help increase the Strength in the Starting XI for next season.

Sterling joined in a 47.5 Million Pounds acquisition from Manchester City who had just a year left in his Current contract with the club.

His Known Attributes are Speed, Close control, Dribbling, Exquisite passing and Goal Scoring. Chelsea Definitely have a Complete package from a winger in Raheem sterling.

With Rudiger having left on a free transfer to Real Madrid it was only logical Chelsea Spent big in the transfer market to Cover the Big Hole in Defense left by German defender.

With many Options Considered to fit the profile Rudiger had, Chelsea eventually settled for Koulibaly. The Senegalese joined Chelsea from Napoli for 33 million pounds with only a year left his Contract. Having Signed a  4 year Deal with Chelsea he would Earn 160 thousand pounds per week as Reported by the Sky Sports Official website.

Tuchel is Known to prioritize His Defense than attack and he prefers numbers at the back and with Koulibaly at the back alongside a partnership with Thiago Silva and Jules Kounde if the move materializes, Tuchel dream 3-5-2 Formation would shake the EPL.

Koulibaly main Attributes are his speed (good enough for a CB), his Strength and his overall Defensive awareness.

How Tuchel would play Koulibaly and Sterling in a 3-5-2 Formation.

Three at the back requires the flanking Defenders to have speed one part Koulibaly knows like the back of his palm.

He would likely partner Trevor Chalobah and Thiago Silva in the backline.

With Reece James and Ben Chilwell taking proper control of the Width the defense would be pretty solid.

A midfield Trio of Kovasic, Kante and Jorginho would provide Balance to the backline and Also provide Creativity.

Sterling and Havertz in Attack is enough to dismantle any opposition.

How Tuchel would play Koulibaly and Sterling in a 4-3-3 Formation Next Season

Tuchel is Hardly a fan of this Tactical Set-up and has shown his inability to be flexible when it comes to this formation but he had some success with it last season though with gives an hint if he might want to use a 4-3-3 formation next season.

Sterling in the Left wing in a front three, Werner Playing Center forward and Ziyech playing Right wing would be so illegal.

That’s a Combination of Speed and Flair in Chelsea Attack next season.

In defense Koulibaly partnering Silva in a back two might not be too appealing in the pitch as both players are currently in their 30’s and lack part of the energy they had when they were young. That doesn’t mean they can’t perform together at a back two because the speed Reece James and Ben Chilwell possess would be fairly enough to make the Back two Functional.

In Midfield Jorginho Kovasic and Havertz would be Just too good to complement the Attack and Havertz would operate in a free role alongside Hakim Ziyech.
