Barcelona chairman and club president has provided the latest updates on the signing of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.

Lewandowski and Raphinha still remain Barcelona’s top choice signings for the summer. After Barcelona secured personal terms with Raphinha, Barcelona have not achieved much progress with Leeds United.

Leeds United are not determined to keep Raphinha in the club neither is Raphinha willing to stay. All that is left now is to find a suitor for Raphinha.

Barcelona and Chelsea are the top clubs interested in signing Raphinha. Barcelona have to beat Chelsea in the race for Raphinha. Even with the deep financial situation of Barcelona, Laporta still believes in signing more players who can win more titles for them.

Raphinha is very much interested in signing for Barcelona so as to fulfill his long-term desire as a footballer. Raphinha announced that he has always admired Ronaldinho Gauché as a kid. Now he now has the chance to fulfill that catchy dream of his. Leeds United have put a huge €60m piece tag on Raphinha.

Joan Laporta also mentioned Robert Lewandowski as a very much possible summer signing. Lewandowski has been a top choice for Barcelona since late March. Ever since then Barcelona and Bayern Munich have not been able to negotiate any thing tangible due to the adamance of Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich are not willing to let Lewandowski go as they are still confident of the Polish striker’s stay in their club. Lewandowski’s contract expires in 2023 June. Lewandowski has told Bayern Munich that he will leave this summer or next as a free agent.
