Mikel Arteta gives more insight into Fabio Vieira, Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus’ health. “Don’t get carried away” he said.

Excited Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta who has had all wins throughout their preseason matches has made some shocking revelations after their 4-0 victory against Chelsea on Saturday. The manager who was impressed by their performance applauded the team and commended them for putting in the work and having the right attitude.

He went on to talk about their new signing Zinchenko who made his debut on Saturday starting off the match and playing for the entire first half. He said Zinchenko was desperate to play along with the others and showed great understanding of the club’s bigger picture and how they want him to play.

He confirmed that Gabriel Jesus was ok despite taking a hit during the first half. He was taken out of the match minutes into the second half as Arteta didn’t want to risk anything with the start of the season a few days away.

Other players like Tomiyasu and Fabio Vieira who are still out due to injuries he confirmed, will soon be back in action. Tomiyasu will soon start training with them while Fabio who is very much unlucky to begin his time for the club like this might take a little longer to get back on the pitch.

He added that players and the fans should not get carried away by the team’s pre-season success as he said “it’s just a test match” and they have a lot of things they need to work on and many areas they need to improve and be better at.
