Barcelona have finally answered questions from fans and the press on the reason why they want to sell Frenkie De Jong to Manchester United.

Barcelona have been in recent conversations with Manchester United as United are interested in signing Frenkie De Jong. As we all know Barcelona are in a deep financial state.

Barcelona are in dire need of money as they are looking to pay up their debts which is a total d £1.16bn. In order to remain on top across Europe, Barcelona are looking to do their BIG SUMMER CLEAEOUT.

Frenkie De Jong was the first and the major player who was mentioned that Barcelona are planning to sell. If Barcelona success sell Frenkie De Jong, they would pocket €86m.

However, in in other to also satisfy the desire of their player Frenkie De Jong, Barcelona have also given him an option of taking a pay cut.

Barcelona have decided that if Frenkie De Jong is staying then he will have to take a huge pay cut. It has also been rumoured that Barcelona will cut De Jong’s salary by 50% which means tht Frenkie De Jong will now be earning half of his salary from the meantime.

Frenkie De Jong on the other hand is not willing to go anywhere. Frenkie has even made an open speech tat he will stay in Barcelona even if he is not earning anything.

Barcelona chairman Joan Laporta said that they will definitely sell Frenkie De Jong if Manchester United are willing to pay €86m-€90m.
